Founded in 1980 by Greg & Sue Knadler, the company started with tree pruning and
as time went by the business grew to include all branches of general contracting.
Today Knadler Contracting owns loaders, boom trucks, a dump truck, forklift,
Bobcat, excavator, and road grader.

In addition to Knadler Contracting, Greg & Sue founded St. Regis Custom Log
Homes in 1982. As most business do, they started out small, only building one or
two houses a year. At last count, they have built over 300 log structures in Montana,
Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
